‘The Free Spirits’ route, as it has since been named, runs to the summit of Yaomei Peak (6250m) after being forged by two Chinese climbers Yan Dongdong and Zhou Peng in 2009.
The Free Spirits Tents (TFS Tents) was founded by Wang Jigang in Qingdao, China in 2011 as an outdoor equipment company inspired by this journey. The Free Spirits champion a philosophy of equilibrium. Rather than being the lightest or the biggest, their products strive for a harmonious balance between functionality, space, weight, and aesthetics, mirroring the ideal balance one should aim for in life.
The ultimate goal of the Basecamp Tent Series is simple: to help you stay safe in the most demanding weather conditions. The Diamond Tarp was design as a group shelter for up to 10 person with over 12sq/m covered space. It is also designed to fit/connect to the Robotech. A 70D Nylon 66 Rip-stop shell with silicone and silver coating protects you from the nature elements while trimming the weight.
